35th Anniversary Elvis Presley Tribute Tour

Welcome everyone to the 35th Anniversary Elvis Tribute Tour – a very special tour that marks the 35th death anniversary of Elvis Presley. This tour is ideal for fans in Australia who want to celebrate and pay tribute to Elvis’s legendary but short life. You will have the opportunity to travel across the US in Elvis’s footsteps from birth to becoming the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Visit the Graceland mansion in Memphis, Tennessee where Elvis and Priscilla Presley lived. Take in the grandeur of his master bedroom and see the magical trophy room where his Gold, Platinum and Multi-Platinum awards are displayed. We also visit Elvis’s birthplace in Tupelo, Mississippi, a humble country town where Elvis spent almost a decade of his life.

The tour also includes entry into ‘Elvis week 2012′ – a festival that attracts fans from around the world to Graceland and Memphis for a full week of parties, concerts, tributes, panel discussions, dances and more, all celebrating the life and legacy of Elvis Presley. Whether you visit for a day or stay for the whole week, Elvis Week has something for everybody and the 35th anniversary celebration promises to be like no other.

A couple of star attractions during ‘Elvis week 2012′ are an ‘Elvis Artists Contest’ where the best impersonators from around the world compete and an ‘Elvis Presley In Concert’ which is an astounding production that reunites former Elvis band mates live on stage with a state of the art video-projected Elvis recreating the magic of an Elvis Presley concert. A collection of Elvis’ finest concert performances that exist on film are edited together and the Elvis footage is projected on a large video screen. On stage a 16-piece orchestra and some of Elvis’ original bandmates from the concert era of his career and other cast members perform live with the Elvis video. From the first song it’s magic. You’re at a real Elvis concert.
